What are your hours?

How will my bill be calculated?

We charge on a per day basis. You may bring your pet anytime during our regular business hour. Regardless of when you arrive with your pet, the first day counts as a full day of boarding. If your pet checks out before 12:00pm you will not incur a charge for the day of check out. Sunday pick up is charged as a full day.

What vaccines do you require?

Dogs must be current within a year on Rabies, DHLPP (Distemper Combo) and Kennel Cough. Cat must have Rabies, Leukemia and FVRCP. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR VETERINARIAN FAX A RECORD OF THE VACCINES DIRECTLY TO US AT 843-559-0141 PRIOR TO YOUR PETS ARRIVAL.

What do I need to bring for my pet?

Moonshadow's goal is to make things as easy on you as possible. We will provide everything your pet will need during their vacation. We supply a premium diet, beds, toys and treats. You will only need to pack for yourself and not your pet!

What kind of food do you feed?

We feed a premium grade diet for both our canine and feline friends.
We also provide canned diets if needed. We have a variety of treats.
In addition, we provide Pill Pockets for animals needing medications.

Can I bring my own food and beds?

You are more than welcome to bring your pets' own food, but it must be in a hard-sided, resealing container to ensure the food stays fresh. We prefer that your pets use our beds because we cannot guarantee that the beds will be returned or in the same condition as presented.

What is a typical day for my pet?

The dogs are let outside by 7:45am and weather permitting will remain outside for hours at a time. During that time they get their chance into the big play yard to play and have one-on-one time with us. From 12:00pm to 3:00pm it is nap time. Then from 3:00 to 5:00pm they have playtime and more one-on-one time. Then it is dinner and a nap, until 8:30 when everyone is let out for bedtime potty break and then tucked in for the night.
